Perfect!

I can't think of a better word to describe today's episode of GH.  Generally I usually write about all the other characters on the show and then JaSam but honestly I can't contain my excitement about today's show.

I was getting worried at first when today's show started out because Jason was talking to Abby, then Carly and I wasn't seeing much time for any time for him to talk to Sam.  Sam, herself had been called over to Elizabeth's house to be part of a very awkward but somewhat good discussion.  Sam as a person has grown so much over the past 8 years since she hit Port Charles.  When we first met Sam she was scheming and trying to make it rich, but then Sam met Jason and he changed her life almost as much as she changed his.  Sam didn't only mature and grow as a person because of Jason.  She was able to grow and mature as a person because after her whole world came crashing around her she built herself back up.  She is a strong and mature person and that is one of the things Jason loves about her most.  Even Elizabeth could see why Jason and Sam are together and that they belong together.  Sam probably was the most helpful person to Elizabeth today. 


Just as Sam was off helping someone else, Jason was dealing with all the women in Michael's life.  But also Jason was forced to face his past decisions about his biological family.  The Quartmaines were very controlling and Edward is still a very crafty old man, but I think Jason finally realized that they aren't as horrible as he once thought.  Edward is no longer the evil empire Jason saw him as.  Jason now sees Edward is an old man who has been left completely alone.  Everyone that Edward once tried to groom as his heir have died and he has become a very old and sad man who is actually human after all.  Jason sees this finally and also realizes while he doesn't want anything to do with ELQ - he should not deny Michael his birth right.  Jason has matured and grown up as well.  This is another reason Jason and Sam are a perfect match, they are both mature and incredible people apart and together.

There is no denying Jason and Sam are perfect in every way for each other.  They did not work with other people and they both know that.  They know without a doubt who they are meant to be with - each other.  Sam went over to Jason's to tell him about Aiden and her very awkward bizarre experience with Elizabeth and Jason saw how incredible Sam was to Elizabeth.  He sees everyday how incredible and smart she is to everyone and this only makes him fall in love with her more each and every day. 

Another thing was they talked about the past today but it wasn't laced with old pain but rather experience and knowledge of what they learned.  It just made us and many doubters fall in love with our super couple even more!
Jason: "That's pretty smart."
Sam: "Yeah, well I speak from experience.  When you and I fell apart I had to find my way back to you."
Jason: "Do you ever wonder why you bother? We did so much damage to each other, why didn't you just write me off?"
Sam: "Oh I tried, I did.  I wanted to hate you forever."   " I just knew that I wouldn't."
Jason: "How did you know that?"
Sam: "I don't know. There is just something about you. When I am with you I don't have to think about being anyone except myself."
Jason: "That's because you are perfect."
Sam: "Perfect?"
Jason; "Except for your cooking.  You're perfect."
They both smile and we all melted like a bowl of ice cream in the sun on a hot summer day! Those were some incredible lines and touching moments between Jason and Sam.  I thought that was all we were going to get and I was completely happy with that scene.  In my opinion that scene alone had me dancing on cloud 9 because it showed how much they love each other but it also showed their darling banter that we sometimes don't get enough of.  Then to my surprise they were on in the last part of the show.  This time engaging in absolutely darling banter again.  The scene of Sam sitting Jason down on the cough to talk to him was so cute.  He thinking she wanted to go away on a trip and he stating his canned response of being too busy.  I loved her line about that was always the case.  She just accepts this as part of Jason.  Then he thought she was worried about Spinelli, it was so cute watching them just talk and be uninterrupted completely alone and in love.  
Sam: "When I called you from the hospital and told you they were going to give me a pregnancy test.  What was your first response? I mean were you sad? Or were you worried or what? Just be honest."
Jason: "Well I thought....I thought  it would be cool."
Sam: "Cool? Yeah that is exactly what I wanted to hear."
Wow, that was just amazing! We may not get to see your amazing couple on a daily basis like we would like but when they are on, WOW!, the whole screen lights up.  The boards go crazy with excitement. We all know JaSam are amazing.  Twitter even goes crazy with JaSam trending! I am almost at a loss of words on how incredible today's JaSam scenes were. Kelly Monaco and Steve Burton are an increbly duo on screen and no one (even a very faithful Jizzer) can deny that honest fact!

Make sure you get out and support GH.  Write letters, emails, call show the show the support we know it should.  A lot of rumors are saying it is ending in July 2012 and ABC has not denied any of these rumors.  So do what we can to support the show now before it is too late.  Make sure you watch GH - if you do watch clips on YT make sure you first watch the show on abc.com so it counts towards the ratings.  DVR GH and watch it within 3 days of airing.  Make sure your viewing is captured in the ratings! We need to work together to save GH. All we can do is try - and sometimes just trying can change the world.

And So It Ends........

A lot happened today on GH.  It was a very dynamic Tuesday as Tuesdays go.   Today there were so many new beginnings and so many endings. 

When today's show started I was trying to figure out if Liz and Lucky's conversation was real or not.  Lucky asks Liz if she knew how Siobhan ended up at the hospital - I wondered if he knew the reason she's not awake yet is because Liz happened to give her the wrong drugs...whoops. Their whole conversation from the start seemed so calm and almost like a dream or a fantasy.  For all these months (okay over a year now) and the hype of Aiden's paternity I really expected more drama around the reveal.  Instead Liz walks casually into the Haunted Star and just tells him point blank. I am glad Lucky wasn't like "Oh yippy, now everything is perfect now."  He was like "Okay fine. What do you want from me?" Lets recap Lucky's life for the past 24 hrs - his father disowns him, he set fire to his childhood home, nearly kills his wife and NOW Liz is like gee I thought the timing couldn't be any worse so now I am telling you something I have known for the last 2 or 3 months.  I am glad he told her to stop tormenting him and to just let him go.  Don't get me wrong, I want an LL2 reunion and I think that is the ONLY way they can salvage Liz's character.  I am just glad they showed Lucky wasn't ready to forget everything at once but he realized Liz's logic eventually.  There is some deep history between these two and I hope they develop this chemistry slowly but honestly.  While I support an LL2 reunion - if that undeserving, bed-hopping, lying, cheating, incompetent nurse lies or cheats on Lucky again, if they get back together, I hope she is mowed down by Luke and this time he will see her in the road and speed up!.

Today the end of the crazy has drawn close at the hospital, I have to say I am a little sad.  Sad that Crazy Lisa is gone.  I love scrubs but Lisa made a damn good crazy/sane doctor.  Lisa was so good at playing sane she had everyone convinced.  Lisa has been entertaining us for to watch for the last two years.  She came to Port Charles only slightly off and then she became a scorned woman who was out for revenge.  Her crazy was turned up in the recent months and I know she wasn't everyone's favorite but oh how I think she was great.  She shook up scrubs but now they know they can weather any storm and that is saying something.  While many think she is horrible for breaking them up - she actually made them stronger.  She also made the halls of that hospital must more entertaining too.  Not to mention, without Lisa when would we ever hear Mac deliver so of his most  hilarious lines ever. 
Those lines include:
Mac: "That crazy bitch has got my girls!!!"
Mac: "As an uncle and a father, I hope she burns in hell!"
Mac: "If your not going to be happy about it I will. Lisa got exactly what she deserved."
Not to mention watching Mac treat Patrick like scum because he is mad he hurt Robin have been rather hilarious.  And so it ends the rein of Crazy Lisa.  Brianna Brown  did an amazing job as Lisa and I hope she goes far in her career.

So begins something else - Maxie never stopped loving Spinelli and he never stopped loving her.  However, they didn't work together.  Spinelli wanted to smother her with commitment and Maxie wanted to smother him with apartment renovations to mask the fact she was completely freaking  out with too much commitment.  Maxie has never stopped wearing her wedding ring and I think while Matt entertains Maxie and she cares about him, he is not Spinelli.  He didn't dive through and air vent to save her.  He wasn't even all that worried about her....I wonder if this is the start of something new. I loved that when Spinelli woke up and Maxie was like Spinelli are you feeling okay?

Sam and Jason were so worried about Spinelli.  He really is their first child.  They both were so worried about him it was cute and so sweet.  Jason's voice was cute when he asked her if she got the test results yet, you could tell there was a little bit of hope in his voice.  Sam was hoping too but she knew better.  When Robin came back to give them the results that she wasn't pregnant, I knew they were negative I was still sad.  I think in the history of GH there is no single character that has taken more pregnancy tests that come back negative then poor Sam.  Both Sam and Jason clearly could see they were both disappointed with the results too.  I have to say I am so tired of her getting pregnancy tests - this has been going on since 2005.  Can they just PLEASE either stop having her have tests or make her pregnant! I am tired of seeing her sad when she gets the results.  It is not fair to her and Jason because they both want a family so badly to keep putting them through this.  Also I am tired of the whole marriage discussion. 
Please GH writers, stop teasing us! GIVE US A JASAM WEDDING AND A BABY!!!! Ratings are in crisis right now, why not give us something to keep us watching instead of screwing with us to the point we get so frustrated we decide to turn the TV off instead of watch!

But no matter how frustrating this is - don't stop watching.  Save our soap.  Fight like hell to save it! Send notes, letters, tell friends to start watching.  Help save GH! We can do this together!

Anger is Food - Revenge is Dessert

Today was an incredible GH.  I watched every second and I can't remember the last time I can say that.  I am faithful to the show and want to do everything I can do to help it's ratings but the recent story lines have been less then exciting.  Carly Jax fight fight fight, Brenda Sonny fight fight fight, Krissy throwing herself at an older man, Mikey wants to be in the mob blah blah blah. But today's show had the spark back.  Today's writer by the way was Garin Wolf (so this might be a hint of the future for GH I do hope). 

Can you think of a better way to put the spark back in crazy then to pair up High Octane Crazy Lisa Niles with Fresh From the Loony Bin Anthony Zacharra??  I mean that combination was like sweet magic.  Both of them take crazy to a level not gone to by most.  Together the mayhem they can cause is reason alone to tune in.  Anthony's name for Lisa was classic, 'My Little Kitten of Chaos'. I have to say while these two wreak havoc on occasion across town, I do love them. The actors who play these two characters are so damn good it is scary! I LOVE Briana Brown and Bruce Weitz when they play crazy. 
Anthony to Lisa: "Lucy, I am home."
Lisa to Anthony: "Anger is food for some people."
Anthony to Lisa: "And revenge is dessert."
Lisa to Anthony: "You make me feel sane!"

The spark is back in their relationship for Scrubs.  They are back to being cute and not boring.  Lisa may have driven them insane and isn't done but at least she helped put the spark back in their relationship.  I loved their darling little banter and Patrick fixing her bracelet.  While they spent more time then I would have talking about Elizabeth, I loved how cute they are again.   But their final chapter of "Why You Never Cheat On Your Wife" has yet to written.  I am very eager to stay tuned to find out how it all turns out. 

Maxie is often sparky and spunky.  Dante and Maxie's conversation was hilarious.  Maxie Jones used to be the bad girl in town who was stuffing pillows down her shirt and steeling pills for a pill popping addict.  But now Maxie is really the wise, concerned friend of those Spencers.  They are lucky to have her.  Maxie has some pretty hilarious lines but today some of her best were:
Maxie to Dante: "Lulu needs an Emergency Boyfriend Transplant" 
Maxie to Dante: "For a cop you have terrible powers of deduction."

Sam is clearly the spark in Jason's eyes.  Jason's concern for Sam is so evident and sweet.  The fact he was so concerned about her going to work and offered to do it for her was even sweeter.  But I can't help like poor Sam is getting a little tired of the baby talk and the pampering.  Sam is not some delicate little flower, she has taken on men 5 times her size and brought them down, she can scale most buildings in Port Charles and has squeezed through most air ducts too.  Samatha McCall is no shy violet.  I think all the baby talk by Spinelli, Molly and Carly and others alike have probably made Sam wanting to run for the hills.  Luckily Sam would never run without her Jason.  She is his rock but truth be told - he is her rock too.  I do love the dynamic Spinelli adds to Jason and Sam's relationship and always has.  While sometimes I wish he would get his own place and leave them to their own lives, sometimes he is cute and funny.  He is like their first child.
Cute lines between Spinelli, Jason and Sam today:
Jason to Sam: "Dr Lee said nothing strenuous for at least 3 weeks."
Sam to Jason: "We aren't talking anything strenuous.  I am staking not stalking." -that was hilarious 
Sam to Spinelli and Jason: "Everybody is making too much of this."
Spinelli to Jason: "Dare the Jackal hope.  The two men reuniting on the saddle of synchronicity. What a night this promises to be."  - Is this Wolf's way of throwing in there maybe in the future where Jason joins the PI practice?

Spinelli to Jason: "We should be as one against the forces of night."
Jason to Spinelli: "Yeah but there's two of us."
Spinelli to Jason: "...like our herculean efforts to throat the evil Mr. Craig in the Metro Court hostage crisis."
Jason to Spinelli: "Yeah but didn't you end up as a hostage?"

Oh Spinelli and his overactive imagination made today's show even more entertaining.  I love the comedy mixed in with the drama today.  This is why we tune in are days like today. 


At the end when Spinelli dragging Sam into the hospital to talk to Robin and Patrick -this scene was priceless.  Sam was trying to write off the cramping and Spinelli was practically rushing her into the ICU.  I am surprised he didn't call Jason while he was dragging her out of the elevator.  Patrick was trying to translate Spinelli speak when Robin was able to pick up on the detail that there could possibly be a little Jason Sam miracle in the future.  Imagine if Sam ever actually does get pregnant - Jason and Spinelli are going to put her in a bubble and never let her lift a finger.  While sweet - they are going to drive her crazy. 

I was glad to see Jason encouraging Liz to go to Lucky and realize this is the path she should have always been on.  She should have never cheated (the dozens and dozens of times she did) on Lucky and should have always been honest with him.  Lucky should never had turned to another woman.  So much went wrong.  Now Lucky is running around town torching his childhood home and apparently forgot to make sure his current wife wouldn't go looking for him in a burning building.  

I can't wait to tune into tomorrow.  I can't remember the last time I said that.  WATCH GH IT IS GETTING SO GOOD!  IF YOU STOPPED WATCHING, COME BACK!!!

I am sure about this

While many residence of Port Charles aren't sure about this or that at least we can be sure Jason loves Sam.  We can be sure Ethan cared for more for Maya then he let on , Kristina is still looking like she is a 3 yr old playing dress up in her much older sister's closet and that Lulu is on the edge of a breakdown herself.

I know there were not many of us out there that thought Maya and Ethan were a cute couple but I did.  I thought they were sweet. I loved how she made him smile.  I loved how he made her clam down and just let go.  I loved that their story of getting married in Vegas was a  legendary  Vegas escapade.  I wanted him to buy her a ring and fall in love with her.  I feel like with Luke and Tracy on the skids that maybe they would work together to help heal the whole family.  I liked Maya's character because she had a past we didn't know much about yet.  She was a Ward and I was so hoping we would get to see Quaermaine/Ward family fun but instead we see less of the Q's then ever.  Why doesn't GH realize what rich valuable history they have in their existing families like the Quartermaines and the Cassadines.   I know the actress that played Maya has been casted on another show but I was peeved why they didn't just re-cast her instead of ruin the character completely. 
Sweet line of the break up: 
Ethan to Maya: "For the record you're the most fun I've ever had too, and that's saying something."
I feel for Ethan - his whole life is falling in shambles but don't turn to Krissy?  I am not a fan.  Okay so now he is getting a divorce but still not thrilled by this romance.  I think I would like it more if Kristina wasn't trying to YET AGAIN change herself for ANOTHER boy.  She still looks like she is playing dress-up and I think the Kristina character needs to mature A LOT before we see her with a character like Ethan. I am not saying a hate the idea of Kristina and Ethan together someday down the road when she decides to grow up a  little and stop constantly wanting to change herself for any guy that walks in the door, but right now I feel like it is a little forced.

Sometimes when you hold on too tight to something instead of keeping it closer all you successfully do is smother it?  I think that is Lulu right now.  She's trying to hold on so close to her family I think Lulu is on the brink of a breakdown herself.  Remember, she's not ultra stable and I think she might be headed back to shadybrook herself this I am sure of.

Something else wonderful happened today - Sam resurfaced from her bed and she and Jason were actually going to go on a date.  He does remember her!!! Sam and Jason had some amazing scenes today.  Jason expected Sam to tell him she wanted him to leave the business and that it would be safer for them and Michael.  But Sam did something Jason did not expect, she assured him he is worth loving without change.
Sam to Jason: ""I love you just the way you are, and I don't want you to change."

Sam has always been such a rock for Jason.  She showed him today that regardless of what they do she loves him and thinks he is a good man.  She also reminded him that his lifestyle choices won't bring back his son, all he missed out on was getting to spend time with him while he was alive because Elizabeth thought his life was too dangerous.  He tried so hard to blame himself for everything today but Sam did more then prove to Jason he is a good person and that she absolutely loves him with her entire heart.  I loved when they started talking about the possibilities of traveling around the world together.  If GH ends to make way for yet another Oprah want to be show that will not have faithful viewers like GH's faithful viewers,  I hope that they are still together and do sail off into the sunset together with their child in their arms.  Ahh but I digress.  Back to today on GH.  Jason isn't sure about much in his life right now but he is sure he loves Sam completely and that she loves him.  He is sure he wants to be committed to her completely. 


Keep showing your support for GH.  Call Comment lines, write emails, letters.  Keep it up until they are so flooded with fan mail that ABC realizes that they need to get rid of the all of these stupid reality TV shows and Oprah want to be shows, and KEEP OUR SOAPS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!  Keep the faith and keep the faith for JaSam.  We have to fight and give it our best to keep this show alive. 

BTW - a Jasam proposal is coming up but it does look like Sam turns down Jason at least at first check out Kelly Monaco's interview on Game On . In part 2 they run lines and Sam turns down Jason's proposal.  So I hope he convinces her to change her mind!

Rock Bottom!

Well I have faithfully been tuning into GH for the past week and half and can't say I have seen much to write about.  Rather it is the painful screeching of Brenda or the nauseating boring story line of Krissy trying to dress herself like a slut so Ethan will look at her.     It has been painful, but with that said, perhaps this means we have hit rock bottom so the only place to go from here is up! 
Perhaps this means that we are now watching the last few weeks that Guza was at the helm of this ship and HOPEFULLY this means, soon (and I hope it is very damn soon) we will start to notice some changes in the storylines.  Maybe we will be getting somewhere with some of these story lines soon.  Maybe someday soon Sam will ACTUALLY be on our screens for more then 15 seconds a week.  Maybe soon Jason will propose (I hope that wasn't only a rumor).  Maybe soon we will get these story lines moving instead of just stalled out.  I am not sure but it feels like all the last week and this week so far were just put in as filler.  I really hope we get some progress soon. 

Don't lose faith in the show and, believe me, I know it is really hard to keep the faith.  Right now just think of the extremely painfully boring storylines going on are hopefully wrapping up shortly and we can FINALLY move on to some much more interesting story lines soon.  Keep the faith.  Call the comment lines.  Keep positive about JaSam.

Hope for the Future

I watched today's show and I have so much hope for the future of GH.  Yes, we all know we are still watching some story lines that are wrapping up by Guza and we are all a little afraid of the future unknown with Garin Wolf.   However, I am hopeful for the future of GH because maybe we will get some less recycled storylines.  Some recycling is good but too much is too much (Remember I am talking about recycling story lines not plastic cups :) - Keep recycling those! ). 

Good recycling - Davis family time with cupcakes.  I love that the Davis girls came over to the PH to see Sam.  I know they didn't mention her b-day this year but I hope that is why they really went over there was because she was sleeping thru her birthday. I love Davis girls scenes. I loved all the funny scenes. Actually I even thought the Krissy and Dante scene was funny.  LOL! I can't stop laughing over Alexis' reaction to Krissy's outfit.  Oh that is what every mother wants is their teenage daughter to dress like a hooker.  Krissy needs to stop living life by trying to impress a boy with changing her look.  This is the same storyline they did last year with her and dressing older the night she was beaten.  I really think Guza did a lot of recycling in his last few weeks at GH and this is one of those too much recycling.  But I did love Alexis this time.  She was like HELL NO! I loved that. 

Speaking of recycling, Michael being selfish is classic story line recycling.  I think since Micheal's conception, that kid has been the most self-centered person to ever walk the streets of Port Charles.  But for the first time in Michael's life, the woman he loves has pointed out that she doesn't want to be part of the mob.  While Michael walked out because he felt Abby was trying to tell him what to do, I think he'll realize very quickly she is right.  I really hope when we start seeing Wolf's new brand on the story lines, we will see Michael grow up a little, go work for Edward and go to college.  Michael growing up would be best for everyone.

Jason's life has always revolved around Michael but today he let him go.  Today he let Michael realize the pain it would cause him but let him know he would always be there for him. Jason went straight home to Sam to talk to her because she is his rock. I hope someday Jason won't have to worry so much about Michael and can focus on SAM, focus on his life with her.  She is so supportive and selfless, she never asks for Jason to focus on her.  That's the reason he should.  She's the only one grateful.  Today was also a good day - they cut the Jizzer scene or it never existed and it was just to be talked about.  HA@! sorry just funny because all the Jizzers were out in force lately with this spoiler and it didn't turn out to get any airtime....HA!
