As children, we often wish for great things like purple ponies and our houses to be made out of gingerbread only to discover that the reality of those wishes are not possible in this world. As children we wonder why this isn't possible. Why can't we have a purple pony and be a princess and then the next be a musketeer? As we grow we begin to realize that isn't realistic. We become more grounded to reality and with that we lose our vivid imaginations and wonder. But even as an adult we wish for things do to often be different then they are. We wish for world peace, we wish we could find the perfect sole mate, we wish for a better job and nicer house...the list goes on. Often times as an adult your wishes do come true but in a very different form then you had originally thought. You realize nothing is perfect, though. Often times when we ask the universe for something it comes to us in a much different expected form then it we thought it would. This is very true for our favorite characters of GH too.
Robin always wished and hoped she would find a great love again. She found all of her wishes came true with Patrick. But what she didn't wish for was for crazy Lisa to enter their lives and wreck her one time perfect storybook like. But they made it through. They survived that storm only to be faced with a much more serious storm that this time may not have a happy ending.
For Sam her wish was always to have a baby with Jason. Even when she was pregnant with Sonny's baby she and Jason planned to raise the child as their own. As long as Sam has been in PC this has been her wish. But for so long Sam could not have a baby. She longed for a chance to get pregnant and now she has her wish, she is pregnant. But the paternity of that baby hangs over her head and is hindering her happiness. Sometimes reality's version of your deepest heart's wish is a little different then what you had imagined.
Next week the journey for our couple begins. Next week they begin to find out who is the father of this baby. We all hope it is Jason (and it had better be). But we can only hope and watch. Watching is key. Keep GH on the air - WATCH!.
Have a happy weekend all! Sorry for so few posts this week. It's been quite a strange week in my personal life but glad it is the weekend.
