Little Earthquakes

I was unable to catch up on GH until tonight.  Friday's episode, while lacking JaSam, was still pretty good. This was the first time in a couple of weeks, I actually sat down to watch the entire show.  There were a fair share of little earthquakes rocking Port Charles these days.

Michael's had a fair share of earthquakes rocking his world recently.   Michael has been handling Abby's death without the most maternity or patience.  The one person who actually got through to Michael on Friday was Jax.  Jax finally played a key role in Michael's life.  Jax always wanted to take over being Michael's father but finally he did the most fatherly thing ever to Michael.  He treated Michael as an equal.  He actually sat down and talked to Michael.  Now the two of them kept their fair share of secretes from one another but at least they were honest about somethings.  But something to note, I don't know what is scarier Michael with a gun or Jax.  Neither one of them have a clue what they are doing.

One of the little earthquakes that rocked Port Charles this week was, of course, the wedding of Anthony and Tracy.  I found it classic that Tracy and Maxie simultaneously realized they were both being blackmailed by Anthony.   Oh and a wedding is what we got. Luke showed up at the last minute Friday and Tracy was sure he was going to swoop in and stop everything.  But he didn't.  Tracy's made 9 trips down the isle but this one was one I think we'll all remember.  Tracy seems to get a loving nickname from each one of her recent husbands, Spanky and now Venus.  Tracy's expressions were classic today.  I really haven't laughed this hard in a long time.  Oh but nothing could quite tell the story like those wedding photos did.  There is always something missing when Luke and Tracy aren't on our screens.  No one can pull off the humor that these two do.  Now they have thrown in Anthony and together those scenes are even more hilarious. How I truly adore the classic entertaining scenes that keep us watching like these.

Sonny and Luke uncovered quite the little earthquake on Friday about Johnny and Anthony.  There have been so many rumors flying around that Johnny's true mother was actually Claudia.  Sonny enjoyed going over to Johnny's way too much.  Honestly, what did Johnny ever do to tick Sonny off so much?  Okay he knew about Dominic/Dante but Sonny hated him even before then.  Johnny being Claudia's son still doesn't truly add up to me, honestly.  When did she have Johnny, what when she was 9 yrs old!?! So was Claudia Anthony's real daughter? That would make Johnny AZ's grandson so it isn't like he is completely removed from that insane bloodline.  Poor Johnny.  I love Johnny I think he is fantastically charismatic and a true delight to watch.

Robin and Patrick's little earthquake will be rocking their world for a long time. Robin's been living with this earthquake most of her life but she seemed to not understand that Patrick is in this with her...through sickness and health.  She should have told him, but she is right they would have all treated her differently knowing she was sick.  Patrick said it best when he said, "This decease does not steal who you are."  Watching Patrick and Robin today made me cry.  I am really going to miss Kimberly McCullough on GH.  Since Kimberly and I are the same age, I feel like we grew up together in someways.  She's been on the show ever since I have watched the show.  GH will just not be the same without her.

Something interesting to note: Emma is what 6 or 7 yrs old this month on GH. It does seem like every time we turn around she is getting re-cast or aged.  So why is it there is a high chair still in their house?  The average child gets out of a high chair at age 2, yet Emma's still sits in the corner.  Also when Elizabeth was madly cleaning up the toys for Patrick, she was picking up toys that were for a child that was less then a year old.  It's just entertaining.

The last earthquake but of course not the least was Jason and Sam.  Their earthquake has been, of course, the rape and the pregnancy.  Today I had imagined the scenes a bit differently but I did love that the two of them were there together.  Am I the only one that found it odd that Dr Lee didn't do a standard exam and find out how far along Sam was before doing this CBS test?  Now I know what most of you are thinking.  Dr Lee hasn't always been known to be an exceptionally observant  OBGYN.  After all, she did believe Maxie was pregnant with a pillow shoved down her shirt.  I was thinking after that experience, Dr. Lee would at least perform some short of exam.  But hey far be it from me to point out these minor details.  Let's not focus on that but rather the united union Jason and Sam were today.  They were both there for each other and are facing whatever happens together.  That is beautiful.  Jason was so concerned and scared you could tell.  He is so worried about Sam.   Jason is completely committed to Sam and this baby no matter who is the father.  Jason said it best,  "Whatever happens, you have me."  I can not wait for this week to unfold for Jason and Sam.  Keep your chin up, Elizabeth can't do anything to get Jason's attention.  Jason is completely 100% committed to Sam.  She is too busy blowing Robin's secretes out of the water to spend too much time to mess with Sam's test results we can only hope.

Keep watching and keep the faith!

Good blog, and outlook, Karen. I so hope you are right that Robin will unload on Floor Whore and keep her nasty fingers out of JaSam's test.
That would be just too much. Jason is so good with Sam and they are so much love. This story just must have a happy ending. Always enjoy your comments and blogs. Stay well.
